The adidas Trae Young 1 Honors 45th Anniversary Of The McDonald’s All-American Game

If you’re one of the select few to earn the McDonald’s All-American Game honors, then the outlook on your NBA hopes and dreams is quite good. Since its inception in 1977, the McDonald’s All-American Game has featured the nations best young hoopers, a fraternity in which Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young was part of in 2017. Not even half a decade later, the point guard has established himself as one of the best in the highest league and will certainly be a face of whatever franchise he plays for.

As part of the colorway cycle of his adidas Trae Young 1 signature shoe is this red, yellow, and dark navy edition that honors the McDonald’s All-American Game. The zig-zagged color-blocking is consistent with previous releases, but these add the emblem at the heel and insole while a “45” on the tongue/shroud honors the anniversary of the event. The game is scheduled to take place in March 2022, so a release during that month is likely.
