Though only about a year old, the Nike Air Max Pre-Day has already amassed a noteworthy collection of colorways. And as we head into Spring, the silhouette is gradually beginning to break conventions, adopting textures and materials currently in vogue.
Here, the pair’s distressing comes forward first, with the oversized Swoosh proffering a distressed, faded suede. Below, the midsole builds off this treatment, marking its side with black paint in a fashion similar to G-Dragon’s Air Force 1. Elsewhere, the construction is far more refined, packed with cream overlays, “Volt” collars, and a base quilted much like the brand’s upcoming Chinese New Year fare.
