Inspired by the members-only institutions that’ve cultivated a culture of fitness, competition and camaraderie, the Nike “Athletic Club” collection has expanded yet again with a kid’s Dunk High clad in white, grey, red and blue.
Already having teased pairs of the Air Force 1 and Air Huarache, among others, the capsule has featured an equally-expansive color palette: bold retro tones couple with subtle ones to create offerings sure to find homes in even the most particular footwear rotations. The latest Nike Dunk forgoes any ultra-loud statement, opting instead to pledge its allegiance to the thematic collection via its tongue label and sock-liner. To further differentiate itself from the sea of old school basketball shoes on the market, the kid’s option displays the word “DUNK” on its lateral heel. Lastly, sole units opt for a simple white and grey combination that allows the profile swooshes and branding on the top of the tongue to revel that much more in the spotlight.
No firm Nike SNKRS release date details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change before the second-half of the year gets going. In any case, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
