Sneaker News Concepts continues its trip down music memory lane, making a must-needed stop in Bethel, NY. The year is 1969, and the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, or commonly referred to as Woodstock, attracts over 400,000 and 32 music acts over a three-day span, marking one of the most significant moments in the history of live music.
For its Air Max 1, Concepts draws inspiration from the common garb seen throughout, with worn denim, bandana paisley, and surplus fatigues in the form of tiger-camo and M85 jackets covering the upper. Furthermore, the intricate pattern seen at the ankle is a call-out to the guitar straps famously worn by the rock bands that performed.
This second design by Concepts first released exclusively through the shop on March 12th, but will now be available at select retailers globally on March 19th, 2022 for $170; see the official store list ahead.
