A Cotton Candy Gradient Lands On The Latest Nike Vapormax Plus

The Nike Vapormax Plus continues to be one of the best-selling sneakers offered by the brand, despite no longer being the latest and greatest in innovation.

Recently, the hybrid silhouette appeared with black-colored cushioning, Air Max Plus-inspired TPU overlays across the upper and other details, which compliment the cotton candy-reminiscent gradient that takes over its mesh base. Hits of vibrant pink turn into shades of purple from tip of the toe to mid-foot, allowing most of the heel area to indulge in a rich blue that nods to the original Tuned Air design’s debut color scheme. Badges on the spine deviate from the remainder of the Nike Vapormax proposition, further harkening back to Sean McDowell’s 1998 running sneaker.
