As the Nike Air Max 1 continues to celebrate its 35th anniversary, the Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker keeps donning refreshing, compelling ensembles. The latest?: The “Treeline” colorway set to release stateside and globally on Saturday, May 7th.
Initially believed to be a “4/20” proposition, the shaggy green suede, “Dark Driftwood” mesh-covered sneaker is seemingly part of an Air Max collection celebrating the design and technology’s global appeal. Purple flair enters the mix via the tongue label’s branding, as well as profile swooshes, positioning the pair with Nike SB‘s “Skunk” release from 2010. Sole units opt for a clean color combination, with midsoles offering a clean white look that allows for the visible Air bubble and waffle-patterned tread to appear more prominently.
Enjoy campaign imagery of the pair ahead, courtesy of Sneaker Politics, and try your luck via Nike SNKRS on May 7th.
