First Look At The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainier

Aimé Leon Dore has the casual lifestyle footwear game locked in. Now, the NYC-based label is branching out beyond the fit-pics to the rock trails with the New Balance Rainier.

Revealed by avid outdoorsman, cyclist, @gramparents founder Kyle Kivijarvi, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Rainer sees a two-toned slate grey suede and deep navy Cordura canvas twill and padded ankle collar. A rugged Vibram outsole adds some 4WD capability on the trails, while GORE-TEX protection ensures defense against harsh climates.The Rainier has also been featured with two styles of brand logos — a classic enlarged N and the smaller NB motion logo debossed into the upper. The same emblem is featured on the leather tongue label above the ALD text logo.

A release date has not yet been revealed, but the ALD New Balance Rainier is likely arrive later this Fall 2022 season, with other colorways possibly arriving as well. Check out a detailed look ahead and stay tuned for updates.
