Jovani Hernandez Currently in its 26th year on the market, the Nike Air Max 95 has taken the first eights months of 2022 as an opportunity to flex the creative muscle it wasn’t able to during its quarter-century birthday. Recently, Sergio Lozano’s iconic design emerged in a fall-friendly mix of grey, red and other muted tones; visible Airbags underfoot follow suit, while accompanying foam opts for an off-white finish instead.
While not featuring the same hues as the model’s original style in 1995, the greyscale arrangement found on the latest pair takes over the performance-oriented mesh base across the upper. Black also enters the mix, working with lace loops, netting around the tongue and heel areas to further cement the sneakers as geared for the colder season. Branding, however, deviates from the understated look that takes on most of the Air Max in favor of a dark red hue, creating a compelling ensemble for those looking for a touch of contrast for their muted autumn and winter outfits.
