Since taking up the position of Creative Director over at New Balance, Teddy Santis has gifted sneaker culture with an impressive number of MADE in USA offerings. And though expanding rapidly every month, said collection has not yet distracted the designer from his own label, Aimé Leon Dore, which is about to release another round of collaborative 550s.
Popularized by Santis and his New York-based hotspot, the 550 has maintained an upwards trajectory since its return a few years ago. And while inline styles have produced hype of their own upon reveal, none have been able to rival those marked with the coveted ALD logo. Here, an additional set of colorways is to be given such an honor, these clad in a composition distinct mmore minimal than previous installments. Here, white leathers construct the brunt of one option and grey suedes the other; the accents adjacent, though predominantly neutral color, usher subtle hints of blue across the branding of the latter pair and the midsole of the former.

In other news, the Trophy Room Air Jordan 7 was revealed last night.
