The Nike Air Max Plus Further Celebrates The Life Of Frank Rudy

The Nike Air Max Plus Further Celebrates The Life Of Frank Rudy

Since the summer The Swoosh has been paying homage to the architect responsible for crafting the heralded Air Max cushioning system, enacting a sketched aesthetic across its line of Tuned Air silhouettes in tribute to M. Frank Rudy.

Centering its latest celebration onto the Nike Air Max Plus, an updated color palette introduces titular neon green hues to the fray in the stead of the Air Max 97s orange/blue/yellow scheme. Calling upon the aforementioned shade to treat the entirety of its mesh upper and TPU caging, seldom black accents outfit the overlay trim, lace eye stays and sock liner while the midfoot Swoosh renders a sketched construction. Filling its glossy mudguard and smooth leather overlay in a “Royal Blue” hue, the noisy outfit is toned down via a clad white midsole and gum tread underfoot. Providing a lasting reverence to Rudy, the silhouette’s insoles dawn a blue print aesthetic alongside an air pressure gauge hang tag in conclusion.

While no release date information has been shared quite yet, enjoy official images of the Nike Air Max Plus “Frank Rudy” below in the meantime.
