The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ is just three days away. As players continue to find their form through training sessions and exhibition matches, some of them have unveiled the latest and greatest from some of the biggest sportswear companies in the world. Recently England’s Raheem Sterling assisted Stone Island in unveiling its next collaboration with New Balance.
Having taken a performance approach to its first two propositions, the Stone Island x New Balance partnership has reworked the Sterling (and Bukayo Saka)-approved Furon V7 with the Italian brand’s “In Motion” camouflage. The limited edition football boots feature a Hypoknit upper that’s sure to see some special moments on the world stage, although the accompanying jersey and shorts are likely to be reserved for off-the-pitch activities.
Stone Island includes a New Balance 574 in its next joint-effort with the Massachusetts-based institution. Few details or images of the lifestyle offering have been shared by the European fashion house up to this point, but the sneaker revels in a military-inspired, all-over grey ensemble that speaks to both partners’ heritages. Stone Island’s iconic Compass logo lands on the top of the tongue, serving as one of the most obvious design updates to the shoe from 1988.
Enjoy campaign imagery of the collection ahead, and find the Furon V7 and “In Motion” camouflage kit exclusively on stoneisland.com on November 21st. Stone Island’s New Balance 574’s launch date hasn’t been disclosed by either party involved.
