Over the course of the last few months, atmos has delivered a steady flow of collaborative offerings. And to help close out 2022, the Japanese retailer is once again teaming up with ASICS, this time for a long overdue sequel to the GEL-LYTE III “World Map” that released back in 2018.

Compared to its four-year-old predecessor, the upcoming atmos x ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Aged Map” is much more detail-heavy, leaving very little room for open water. The globe is effectively condensed down to the silhouette’s paneling, with landmasses filling up much of every exterior fixture. Moreover, the colorway features additional cartographic details — for example, a compass motif, scale and orientation indicators, etc — and a brief, albeit detailed, display of life decades ago.
