Jared Ebanks From quilted uppers, canvas panels and suede accents, the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape stands at the forefront of the Beaverton brand’s reimagined running designs crafted through a sustainable-minded lens. Having last dressed it’s Air Max 1 counterpart, the workwear-associated material now extends across the refreshed Air Max silhouette.
Boasting a gloomy aesthetic with seldom lightened accents, the full breadth of blue is harkened upon the diversely tooled effort. Pairing its canvas base layer with denim and corduroy textures, a darkened “Navy” sets down across the latter embellishments in stark contrast to the semi-translucent light teal quarter panels. Anchoring its tumbled leather midfoot Swoosh, connecting heel tab and “TERRASCAPE” branded pull tabs in additional light blue shades, the uppers’ presiding laces mirror both the suede and leather midfoot overlays in a pitch-dark arrangement.
