Jared Ebanks As The Swoosh patiently awaits its coveted Air Max Day, the Beaverton brand’s reimagined Air-infused counterparts boasting sustainability mindsets have received the green light for a bevy of constructions for the new year, such as this greyscale Nike Air Max Terrascape 97.
Encouraging the trail-inspired silhouette into a monochromatic ensemble, varying shades of grey envelop the fused mesh and rubberized overlays of the upper while further coordinating across the tongue construction, laces and presiding pull tabs. Illuminating the tonal rendition above, titular swatches of “Volt” bear the ankle’s Swooshes while the mid-foot’s mesh window pocket receives a vibrant trimmed accent. Denoting its midsole component to an all-out grind rubber outfit, bright “Volt” accents return to clothe the translucent Air Max cushioning system underfoot while white and the latter pair across the tread in conclusion.
