Jovani Hernandez The New Balance 1906R is a fairly novel design within the company’s roster of products, but it’s quickly garnered a loyal fanbase.
Recently, the lifestyle silhouette emerged in a tonal grey ensemble. Breathable mesh, synthetic strips, and plastic clips around the heel take on a cool grey hue that fits in with New Balance heritage. Branding hits at the mid-foot and midsole deviate in ruby-colored flair that deliver a touch of “speed” to the retro-informed design. The NB 860v2’s sole unit – which is also shared by the popular New Balance 2002R – brings the upper’s two-tone color scheme underfoot. Traction zones underneath the forefoot also don a red-colored finish that help animate the understated sneakers.
