Jared Ebanks Following its 25th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 97 has undergone a number of general releases since returning both the famed Silver and Gold Bullet colorways in March. Recently, the Christian Tresser design dressed in a tonal collection of grays for a versatile summer-ready offering.
Comprised of its prototypical mesh and leather tooling, a greyscale composition touches down across the upper, enveloping its mesh base layer in a crisp “Pure Platinum” shade, the surrounding TPU strips and seldom suede accents come dipped in more neutral grey hues while the mid-foot panel receives a canvas underlay. Introduced through the laces and nylon collar, a lively cream tint envelops the entirety of the midsole unit underfoot.
