First teased in September 2011, the kids’ Air Jordan 3 “Hide N Sneak” is set to release on June 6th.
Made to commemorate Children’s Day (June 11th), the pair keeps things simple, opting for a muted “White/Black/Iron/Sail/Cement Grey” color scheme. At quick glance, the shoe resembles Tinker Hatfield’s inaugural design for the Air Jordan line, but closer inspection reveals some differences with the kids’ retro. Panels around the collar take on a dark grey tone that also lands on the midsole; eyelets and outsoles also follow suit. The silhouette’s iconic elephant print appears at the toe and heel, while a detachable elephant patch joins the mix at the laces. All together, the aforementioned components make for a playful Jordan 3 for the smallest sneaker enthusiasts of the family, a trend Team Jumpman continues to extend.
Enjoy another detailed look at the retro ahead – in Grade School, Preschool, and Toddler sizing – as you wait for a nike.com launch come June 6th. Pricing ranges from $70 USD to $150 USD.
