Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have crafted extremely covetable and influential footwear over the last handful of years.

Recently, Teddy Santis’ imprint has unofficially unveiled a New Balance 650 in a white and University of North Carolina-friendly blue. High-quality leather makes up the bulk of the upper, with collars deviating in a porous mesh that also appears via the sidewalls’ “N” logos. Trims all throughout the shoe opt for the “UNC”-appropriate blue, creating a one-two punch with the NB 650’s white finish. Underfoot, Steven Smith-designed sole units keep things simple with a “colorless” midsole and gum brown traction. The latter component helps position the latest New Balance by ALD as a summertime option, while also further establishing the Santis and NB linkup within the history books.

Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, as you wait for official newbalance.com launch details.
