USA Colors Dress The Nike Air Max 97 Ahead Of The Fourth Of July

The Nike Air Max 97 had had quite the year thus far, receiving a drove of new styles right in time for the Spring/Summer. Soon even USA colors will dress the silhouette, doing so in advance of Independence Day.

Compared to the sneaker’s past nods to the United States, this upcoming Nike Air Max 97 incorporates the good ol’ red, white, and blue in a slightly different way. Navy blues are used to a much greater effect here, dressing not only the mesh base and tongue but also the laces, the outsole, and the leather piping across the shoe’s top line. Red, then, complements along the adjacent trims and branding, while white rounds out the colorway via the midsole and mudguard.
