Jovani Hernandez Nike’s pursuit for innovation is omnipresent, but the brand also celebrates its past with new styles of designs like the Air Max 90.
As spring comes to a close, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic silhouette has appeared in a mix of fall-friendly tones. Brown suede takes on most of the overlays across the upper, with contrast arriving via the profile swooshes, TPU components, and mudguard. The latter-most panel opts for a pitch-dark finish that harkens back to the original “Infrared” release from 1990. Air Max pillars, like the inner lining and side swooshes, favor a red clay-like hue that animates the otherwise muted ensemble. Furthermore, the remainder of the sole unit opts for the upper’s four tones, rounding out the compelling Air Max 90.
