Jovani Hernandez First teased in November 2022, the Air Jordan 12 “Black/Brilliant Orange” has finally surfaced via official Nike photography.
Set to launch on July 13th, the two-tone pair offers Tinker Hatfield’s 10th design for the Air Jordan line in its boldest look of recent memory. The sneaker world awaits the return of the model’s “Cherry” look come October, but the orange-accented pair is sure to win fans over before then. At quick glance, the Halloween-appropriate color scheme may seem random, yet the pair falls in line with Jordan Brand’s recent push into women’s basketball.
Emerging talent like Kiki Rice and established figures like Gabby Williams see recent additions to the Jumpman Family. The former also previewed the unreleased Air Jordan 38 in an all-“Brilliant Orange” look complete with WNBA logos on the tongue. The upcoming Jordan 12 only includes Jumpman logos, but its color scheme, timing, and festive graphics throughout the shoe suggest the pair is a celebratory one for women.
