Michael Le The University of North Carolina may be a Jordan Brand school, but that hasn’t stopped New Balance from imagining what life would be like in Chapel Hill.
And while it’s unlikely the UNC will ever cut ties with the Jumpman — given their history with Michael Jordan himself — New Balance can’t help but support the team from the sidelines, crafting a brand new 650 that may be as well be an honorary Tar Heel. Substituting the Swoosh’s “University Blue” with “Heritage Blue,” this pair applies the latter cool tone along several different accents, from the “N” logo to collar and accompanying branding. The rest of the shoe is made up entirely of neutrals, featuring a white leather base with a grey-colored trims.
