Jovani Hernandez First teased in May 2021, the adidas Yeezy Quantum has finally gotten a release date: August 16th.
Over the course of its life, the basketball-inspired silhouette appeared in a handful of colors, but the “Hi-Res Orange” style offers the boldest look of the bunch. The patterned textile upper and mixed-materials components at the toe and collar opt for varying shades of citrus, falling in line with several unreleased Yeezy designs. A semi-translucent midsole reveals full-length Boost cushioning, which appeared on other popular pairs from Ye’s adidas partnership. The Yeezy Quantum didn’t take off like the Yeezy 700 series, but it displayed the former “Kanye West”‘s ability to bring future-forward design to the performance space in an exciting way.
