A mark of pure quality and superior elegance in the early 80s, the fourth iteration of the classic New Balance 990 has found a more-than-welcoming audience amidst the continued “dad shoe” trend. As the Boston-based brand continues to unveil its fall-centric collection, the 990v4 will serve as a major player alongside its Made In USA toolings.
Crafted in the brand’s Massachusetts-based factories, the latest colorway from the 2016 silhouette shines in pristine white shades. The latter’s colorless fervor assumes each one of the upper’s smooth leather panels while the underlying mesh base layer is cured in a complimentary “Calcium” tint. Underfoot, the ENCAP cushioning system features a bright buttercream accent along the heel in tandem with a sliver of grey. What’s more, the mid-foot “N” logo and both the tongue and heel tab logos adhere to a fall-friendly “Forest Green” finish.
The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA “Calcium/Forest Green” is scheduled to release on September 7th for a retail price of $220. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in official imagery below.
