Unveiled with the help of Coco Gauff, recent winner at the U.S. Open, the Bew Balance T500 by Aimé Leon Dore releases to the world tomorrow, September 15th.
Having debuted in 1982, the NB T500 falls in line with the brand’s recent revival of 1980s performance models. Similarly simple to the New Balance 550 of the same decade, the old school tennis shoe features a smooth leather upper done in clean white. Profile “N” logos and upper heel panels interrupt the “colorless” finish with hits of red, green, and black contrast. Co-branding on the tongue label also follows suit, but the remainder of the latest Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance collaboration reverts to a shade of white. Gauff won’t be wearing the NB T500 anytime soon in a professional competition, but the silhouette captures a special time in tennis’ performance and fashion history.
Enjoy a closer look at the shoes ahead, and find the pairs available via newbalance.com tomorrow, September 15th.
