Jared Ebanks As adidas top celebrity endorser, Pharrell Williams has spent the better part of the past few years experimentally expanding the design ethos of the adidas NMD. Following a slight divergence towards the iconic adidas Samba, Pharrell and his joint Humanrace banner have returned to the Nomad model with a collection of neutral-based offerings.
Inspired by the collaborator’s many trips around the globe, the joint effort silhouette explores four separate colorways that each hold a familiar “Oatmeal” tinted knit upper and a darkened front half of the midsole. Welcoming cream hues amplify the tongue, laces and inner lining while the color wheel selections amplify the back half of each installment. Cast across the diagonally cut heel and the upper’s HUMANRACE branding, each pair stretches either tonal “Oatmeal”, “Cacao”, “Mint” or “Pink Sea Salt” accents across the chosen ensemble.
The Humanrace x adidas NMD S1 collection is scheduled to release on November 27th for a retail price of $230 via the adidas Confirmed app and select retailers. In the meantime, each colorway can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
