Andrew Rizzo The New Balance 1906R has earned lots of goodwill among sneakerheads via a strong slate of recent GR releases and collaborations. Now, the Boston brand offers up another solid essential by way of a new gray/olive colorway, continuing to channel the look and feel of early 2000s runners.
The shoe’s upper features gray leather over breathable white mesh with small hits of reflective silver donning the TPU overlays, while a muted olive heel unit provides a welcome splash of color. This release is currently only available in Europe, but look for them to potentially make their way stateside soon as is typical for New Balance GR models.
