Nike SB Borrows Travis Scott’s “Reverse Mocha” For The SB Force 58

A trendy colorway treats the up-and-coming Nike SB silhouette.

Nike SB Borrows Travis Scott’s “Reverse Mocha” For The SB Force 58

Travis Scott’s Nike partnership has come full circle. Following the debut of his first Air Jordan 1, a shoe that drew inspiration from the “Trail End” Nike SB Dunk, brown and cream color palettes have become a staple across a wide variety of Beaverton brand releases. Now, Nike looks set to deliver an unapologetically La Flame-esque colorway of the Nike SB Force 58, returning trending aesthetics to the very Nike sub brand that birthed them.

News of this release marks an important moment for the Force 58, the silhouette faced with stiff competition on shelves stocked with a variety of more familiar Nike SB offerings. Given the Travis Scott touch, this colorway definitely looks primed to turn heads. The shoe wears a brown suede base and sail colored overlays in true Cactus Jack fashion, complemented by a cream Nike Swoosh to round out the upper construction. The addition of a red mini Swoosh towards the toe, while subtle, goes a long way in pushing the Travis Scott influence on this pair.

This is hardly the first example of collaborative Nike designs influencing inline models, evoking memories of Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed motif as well as LeBron James’ “South Beach” palette. If you missed out on the Reverse Mocha Jordan 1 Low in 2022 and want to ease the pain with some retail therapy, look for this pair at your local skateshops in the coming months. In the meantime, enjoy official images below.
