The hybrid New Balance 9060 may still be a relative newcomer to the NB family, but has absolutely made its mark in that short span of time. Now a bonafide streetwear staple, the steady stream of new looks for the sudden hit sneaker keep on coming. Next up is a “Pink/Silver” pair in women’s sizing whose arrival ahead of spring couldn’t be any better timed.
From first glance, you’ll see that a two part weave between soft pink and a far deeper mauve understandably gives this pair their title. Those rosy hues may not take up the majority of the sneakers, but they certainly stand out the most amid the overall palette. Lending some classic retro sensibility, a gum sole strikes the silhouette for one of the first times in their short history.
Outside of those sections, these New Balance 9060s dance across the spectrum of off-white shades for their underlying mesh and their midsole. They may not carry the exact white, brown and pink shades that sneakerheads instantly read as “Neapolitan,” but at worst, they glance off of that tried-and-true formula.
The New Balance 9060 “Pink/Silver” will drop exclusively via Foot Locker on March 15th, arriving in women’s sizing and commanding a retail price of $150. A drop through New Balance channels is also expected, but at this time has not been fully announced.
