Radiant Purple & Pink Grace The New Balance 1906R

A "raspberry vanilla" colorway for the techy standouts.

Radiant Purple & Pink Grace The New Balance 1906R

The New Balance 1906R continues to factor heavily into the Boston brand’s 2024 release plans. While an Action Bronson collaboration still looms, nothing is keeping the in-line versions of the model from getting their shine. With summer on the horizon, the shoe is responding in kind, adopting a “White/Purple/Pink” look for its next drop.

Given that our past few looks at the New Balance 1906R have draped it in multi-colored, explosive outfits, this more conservative adornment is something of a surprise. It really only utilizes two contrast shades, a raspberry pink that dances across the laces via the “N Lock” system and a royal purple that paints the heel cage. The rest of the shoe relies on a familiar formulation of neutral shades, with mesh in pure white and two eggshell shades painting the suede overlays atop it. Even in this reigned-in manner, the tech futurism of the 1906R’s layered linework still shines through all the same.

Based on initial info, it would seem the New Balance 1906R “White/Purple/Pink” will be releasing this Summer. It’ll carry a $140 retail price when they do officially drop- take a look at the full image gallery below to get a closer look ahead of that day.
