Andrew Rizzo Contemporary sneakers are “in” and Maha Amsterdam has distinguished itself as top source for simple, elegant footwear for women. Naturally, the brand’s first adidas collaboration speaks to that ethos to a tee, dressing two Three Stripes originals with soft colors and premium materials.
The Maha x adidas capsule features a trending model and an under-the-radar silhouette; the adidas Samba and adidas Samoa. While the Samba needs no introduction after having re-emerged as one of today’s most popular daily drivers, the Samoa makes headlines with less frequency, largely thought of as a straight-to-outlet special. However, given the Maha touch, that claim won’t ring true for this particular pair.
Both the Samba and Samoa hone in on jade green treatments, chosen for its symbolic representation of wisdom and strength in Asian culture. The Samba embraces three different jade hues on its base and overlays, while the Samoa confines muted color to its Three Stripes branding. Gum soles, rope laces, and cross-stitched heel details appear on both models, topped off by circular jade lace dubraes. Additionally, both shoes come crafted with premium leather and suede.
