adidas Response CL “USA” Appears Ahead Of Olympic Games

The patriotic tech runner lands this Summer.

adidas Response CL “USA” Appears Ahead Of Olympic Games

The adidas Response CL stands as the Three Stripes’ best embrace of tech runner trends, its new retro run actually predating the start of that vintage wave by a couple years. Though its most frequently offered as a GR product, there’s nothing preventing special editions of the shoe. For an inline drop with eyes on the Olympics, the adidas Response CL takes on an unabashed “USA” colorway.

Though it’s presented in trademark shades of “Better Scarlet,” “Cloud White” and “Night Indigo,” there’s no mistaking the “USA” red, white and blue on display here. That navy takes the lead, dying that underlying mesh, while red weaves across  the webbed leather overlays. Ensuring that the silhouette doesn’t lose its core appeal, the expected Y2K silver hues remain a key component, creating a real sense of motion with the striped patterns it’s utilized in.

The adidas Response CL “USA” will retail for $140, expected to arrive as a part of adidas’ Summer ’24 slate. Take a closer look via official photos ahead.

Along the same tech runner lines, take a look at our New Balance Grey Day 2024 preview.
