A$AP Rocky’s PUMA Inhale OG Collaboration Releases On May 3rd

PUMA, the official footwear licensing partner of Forumla 1, is set to release a collaborative motorsports collection with rapper and fashion icon A$AP Rocky, including a rarely seen silhouette in its original makeup.

The PUMA Inhale came about in the year 2000 as a running shoe, now back in OG makeup with Rocky’s co-sign. Breathable mesh comes decorated by leather and suede overlays, while a red gradient Formstrip matches the branding and sharp accents at the base. Underfoot, spaced out tread appears over another gradient that goes from yellow at the forefoot to red at the center. PUMA actually released the Inhale’s OG colorway a few years ago to a quiet reception, but A$AP Rocky’s influence will most definitely ensure this pair doesn’t fly under the radar.

On top of the Inhale OG, PUMA and Rocky also spread their influence on a slate of collaborative gear including a sweatsuit, balaclavas, gloves, and more. A$AP Rocky reflects on the collection as a whole: “This Miami collection aims to give fans the chance to have their own race suit from the helmet down to the shoes. Other sports have uniforms available for the consumer and I wanted to bring that to the F1 category. For the visuals, I wanted to demonstrate how as adults we can lose sight of the dreams and imagination that we had as kids, and really love how it all came together.”

The collaborative collection releases at 10:00 AM EST on May 3rd at PUMA.com and select retailers including Nubian, SSENSE, SLAMJAM, SNS, Foot Patrol, Shinzo, and the CNCPTS Miami Flagship Store. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the PUMA Inhale OG below.
