Andrew Rizzo Nike Air Max Plus aficionados have it good in 2024. The Beaverton brand has crafted an applaudable lineup of electric colorways for Summer/Fall 2024, including a new “Hot Punch” pair for women now available via Nike for $180.
Taken in an almost CDG-like mix of “Hot Punch” and black, the shoes follow a tried and true Air Max Plus color blocking formula with an emphasis on gradient treatments. The base transitions from white into the titular hue down towards the mudguard, while the center portion of the midsole wears the same pattern. The Swoosh, tongue logos, and Tuned Air Chambers flair up with more “Hot Punch” treatments, while a while midsole rounds out the look underfoot.
