Back in 2020, Nike celebrated Air Max Day with the Air Max 90 “Reverse Duck Camo,” taking the famed atmos x Air Max 90 from 2013 and inverting the shoe’s black and “Infrared” treatments. Now in a bit of a surprise twist, Nike is re-releasing the shoe on September 19th, giving those who swung and miss four years ago another chance to cop.

Why Nike is choosing to bring back the AM90 “Reverse Duck Camo” at this particular moment is a bit of a mystery. The initial release was fairly sought-after for a handful of reasons; the atmos association of course, the energy surrounding Air Max Day, and the fact that Nike had just debuted the “Recraft” Air Max 90 cut. Now four years and several passing sneaker trends later, it remains to be seen whether or not sneakerheads are hungry for another drop. Aftermarket prices for the 2020 release have only gone further and further down, so it’s possible everyone who had these on their “must have” list has already been able to cop. Nike also released similar “Total Orange” and “Ghost Green” colorways back in 2020, but we haven’t heard that those pairs will return as well.

In any case, look for the Air Max 90 “Reverse Duck Camo” to hit shelves on September 19th for $140; the same MSRP as the initial release. See detailed images below and keep our “Where To Buy” section handy for purchase links.
