It’s a fitting choice given the rib-cage like quarter panel, making the silhouette more uniquely primed for this sort of look as opposed to your typical Nike model. The aesthetics here might be what gets you in the door, and once it does, the Vertebrae sports skate-ready tooling from its generative outsole to double stitched paneling to hold up longer.
