Think back to the beginnings of your sneaker journey and how you ended up where you are today. Chances are, a Foot Locker was within arms reach of that path, readily stocking a variety of sneakers across multiple brands. For fifty years, the retailer has been at “The Heart Of Sneakers”, and to kick off their milestone celebration, they’ll be dropping a number of exclusive shoe drops from Nike, adidas, New Balance, PUMA, and Converse that reflect their unmatched influence in sneaker culture.
Dropping on September 9th are seven different silhouettes — each a mainstay in any shoe rotation. From Nike is the Air Force 1 Low and Air Max Plus; from adidas is the Samba and Superstar; from New Balance is the iconic 550 and the 2002R; from PUMA is a MB.01 Retro; from Converse is the Weapon Low. Anchoring the entire collection is a black/white theme inspired by the “Striper” uniforms worn by the retailer’s associates. Each pair is accented in its own way with touches of gold to tell the story of the milestone half-century mark.
In addition to offering the broadest line-up of products across sports and lifestyle, Foot Locker is also looking to elevate the shopping experience through its Lace Up Plan, which focuses on deepening its relationships with its customers through thoughtful strategy that separates itself from the rest of the field. Their newly unveiled 34 St. flagship store reflects their continuing efforts to focus on the consumer.
The entire Foot Locker 50th Anniversary collection will be available in-store and online beginning on September 9th.
