The Air Max Plus silhouette is once again atop the ranks of the Swoosh’s lifestyle assembly, much in part due to Nike’s strategic plans that included a re-release of original colorways. a series of collaborations with the likes of Patta and One Block Down, and unique deliveries that even saw a paw-print shaped air bubble sit at the tongue.

The in-line seasonal releases have filled in those gaps, and promisingly so: Nike’s color team has done an impressive job in creating even more distinct styles — a tough task given the silhouette’s massive catalog. Using the statement gradient arrangement in its favor, this Air Max Plus sees a soothing blend of oceanic blue tones that fade into a light purple at the lace collar, emanating that rare moment during the sunset before the sky turns dark blue. Laid above the mesh is a soft blue exterior TPU, all wrapped together by a black base in the mudguard, outsole, and tongue.
