Sean McDowell’s Air Max Plus has been one of the most significant Nike Air Max models of 2024, assuming different aesthetics under the new “Drift” and “Tiempo” series while cementing its icon status through compelling, standard issue releases. While it appears Nike will shift focus to the Air Max 95 in honor of that model’s 30th anniversary next year, the Beaverton brand has a handful of TN bangers slated to hit shelves before the end of 2024. Opinions are subjective of course, but this new “Wolf Grey/Black/Opti Yellow” pair might be the best.

Official images reveal a black-dominant design, with the tongue, lining, mudguard, and midsole all stealthening up for cohesiveness. The base transitions from “Wolf Grey” to black as you move from the top down, defining clear light and dark sections, while “Opti Yellow” hits the mini Swoosh, shank plate, and tongue branding. All told, the design heightens focus on the black and yellow “TN” heel logo with an overarching palette to match, standing tall as a strong addition to any Air Max aficionado’s rotation.

Currently, the Air Max Plus “Wolf Grey/Black/Opti Yellow” is expected to hit shelves during the Holiday 2024 shopping season for $170 in men’s sizing. Scroll through official images below and return periodically to our Sneaker Release Dates hub while we keep our ears up for more info.
