After extensive work on the adidas Campus in 2023, Bad Bunny moved wholly to the adidas Gazelle this year. An ode to “San Juan” and a more relaxed black-and-white pair have kicked the model off so far, but the next chapter is bringing a third driver into the mix as Lionel Messi will bring his talents alongside Benito and the Three Stripes for a three-way collaboration this November.

Though the defining detail of the Bad Bunny Gazelle, its warped T-toe, remains in this application, this isn’t a pair that stamps Messi’s name and calls it a day. Indeed, the manufacturer tag is gone at the heel, replaced by crossing strips of leather that mirror the jagged finish of the Three Stripes at the quarter. To that end, the leather makeup of the shoe is in and of itself a notable detail, eschewing the suede & nubuck arrangement of the past two editions.

To approximate the visible branding, the tongue tags sport exposed stitching, also showcasing the ocean blue shade that’s become a calling card for recent Bad Bunny adidas output. Finally, the totemic nature of the two adidas collaborators is driven home with Benito and Messi’s signatures stamped on the Three Stripes for a personalized finish.

Comprising a “home and home” feel, images of this Messi x Bad Bunny Gazelle Indoor come alongside a first look at an adidas F50 that sports many of the same touches as this shoe. Taken as a whole, the two pairs provide a way for either superstar’s core fanbase to get in on this collaboration where they’re most comfortable.

Finalized release details for the Messi Bad Bunny Gazelle Indoor have yet to be announced, but sources are projecting a November launch. As always, our Sneaker Release Dates hub and this article are your go-to sources for further information as it becomes available.
