What made the Air Max 95 gain a global bastion of devotees is the grey gradient upper that debuted on the OG “Neon” colorway. Never replicated, yet often duplicated, the Air Max 95 is simply among the most iconic, game-changing sneakers of all-time, which is why many fans are eagerly awaiting the hoopla surrounding its 30th Anniversary next year.

While collaborations with A Ma Maniere, Central Cee, and Corteiz have the hype train moving forward, it’s often the general releases that maintain the on-foot real estate in the ever-competitive sneaker scene. This “Triple Grey” loosely nods to that first design as several shades of the neutral employ the upper panels to achieve the timeless look. Nike could’ve gone with a vibrant accent pop, but the 95 rarely ever needs help in gaining attention.
