Can a team-friendly Nike Vomero 5 colorway help New York Yankees fans get over a World Series loss? The answer is no, but we appreciate the sentiment, Beaverton designers.

Here we have a navy blue and grey look that aligns seamlessly with the Bronx Bombers’ road uniforms, with the accent hue dotting the quarter, Swoosh, lining, and outsole. While Dodgers fans got a more clear-cut tribute to their team by way of Los Angeles Dunks ahead of the fall classic, this shoe’s “Yankees” nickname is an unofficial one derived from its colors alone. ASICS also has a “Yankees” tech runner en route, fittingly taken on an ASICS GEL-NYC earmarked for mid-November.
