“Shattered Glass” Falls On The Nike Air Max Plus

Futuristic notes on tap for Spring '25.

“Shattered Glass” Falls On The Nike Air Max Plus

As the earnest bring-back of the Nike Air Max Plus grows longer in the tooth, Beaverton creatives are increasingly willing to eschew matte or even gradient looks for something a bit more elevated. Graphic prints are now a pretty common sight on Sean McDowell’s design, but we’ve never seen anything quite like the Air Max Plus “Shattered Glass.”

The pair begins with a “murdered out” all-black foundation, itself a noteworthy inclusion given the model’s typical vibrant leanings. On the mesh base layer, futuristic linework in neon green and pure white elucidate the titular theme. All told, the hi-vis verdant hues are the primary accent shade, mirrored outlining the Swoosh and underfoot at the heel.

As we’ve mentioned in previous articles on new Air Max Plus releases in 2024, the sheer quantity of colorways can often wear down us, and audiences at large. While graphic executions may not be the Tn’s home base, it does add a new category to the shoe’s wheelhouse, and this “Shattered Glass” colorway assists in keeping things fresh for the beloved silhouette.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Shattered Glass” is expected to release as a part of Nike’s Spring 2025 offerings. Be ready for a $180 MSRP upon arrival. As always, our Sneaker Release Dates is your go-to for further updates on this shoe, including a concrete launch date once it emerges.

For another major upcoming shoe, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know about the Wu Tang Nike Dunks.
