Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Light Madder Root” Releases September 9th, 2025

The scope of 2025 Jordan releases is coming further and further into focus by the day. A key focal point will be the Air Jordan 1, which will soon celebrate its 40th anniversary through several releases Jordan Brand hopes will re-ignite demand following oversaturation in recent years. While upcoming retros like the Jordan 1 Bred and Shattered Backboard headline the Jumpman’s 2025 selection, we’re also hearing of a handful of under-the-radar extras.

According to @zSneakerHeadz, Jordan Brand plans to release a “Light Madder Root” Jordan 1 High for women in September of 2025. The official color palette reads “Baroque Brown/Light Madder Root/Sail,” hinting at a potential “Neapolitan” mix of brown, pink, and off-white. The mockup above illustrates a potential outcome, but we’ll have to wait on actual product shots to say how the design will materialize.

The women’s Jordan 1 “Light Madder Root” is expected to release via Nike and retailers on September 9th, 2025, carrying an MSRP of $180. Stick with us to see official images when they become available.
