This Premium Nike Air Max Plus Wears Embroidered Waves

Sean McDowell’s design isn’t slowing down one bit. After the SNKRS Showcase let loose news of the Air Max Plus “Hyper Blue,” we’re beginning to get our first tastes of what to expect from mainline looks, revisited once again with this “Light Bone” colorway.

Embroidered wings in the place of their typical TPU is the first thing that’ll grab your eye, but a switch from synthetic mesh to matte leather throughout the upper only furthers that same luxe bend. The choice of coloring here, a decadent combination of “Phantom” and “Light Bone” additionally adds to that concept with the deep burgundy trim on the Swoosh, sockliner and outsole adding a notable bit of contrast.

As the Nike Air Max Plus has gone from a frequently requested bring-back to a dominant mainline model, endeavors like this have experimented on its beloved composition, spinning out what most fans would regard as defining features. The “Black Tea” do-up from Summer ’24 is a spiritual predecessor of the look featured here, but editions like the Swarovski Air Max Plus and Air Max Plus Tiempo add to the category.

Anticipate the Nike Air Max Plus PRM hitting Nike.com and retail shelves in the near future — a $200 retail price is confirmed.
