Signature Jordan Brand performance models by names like Luka Dončić and Jayson Tatum might command more attention, but as far as tech goes, nothing rivals the Jumpman’s numbered series. The Air Jordan 39 is JB’s latest and greatest, arriving as the first Jordan shoe to feature ZoomX cushioning last fall. This upcoming “Noir” colorway is one to look out for, currently expected to roll out during the Spring 2025 shopping season.
The formula here is fairly simple; black nubuck comprises the upper, while a semi-translucent midsole adds contrast and balance underfoot. While maybe a stretch, the familiar combination might evoke memories of Nike x Fear Of God shoes given the model’s premium materials and lux aesthetic.
Jordan Brand hasn’t set a firm release date as the time of this writing, but all indications suggest a Spring 2025 arrival for the standard $200 retail price. See official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates page to stay up-to-date with all the latest from the Jumpman.
Speaking of which, the Black Cat 3s release January 11th in full family sizes.
