Another strong GR colorway appears.

Nike Celebrates The 35th Anniversary Of The Air Max 90 With “Dusty Cactus”

The signature bright blueish-teal tone emerges once again on an Air Max classic as the 1990 year model appears clad in one of cleanest GR colorways yet.

As part of the Swoosh brand’s Spring 2025 catalog of in-line aka “General Release” drops, this Air Max 90 leverages a multitude of grey shades on the upper, while the pop of Dusty Cactus teal appears on the accent package that includes the heel medallion, the Air Max badging on the mudguard, the Air unit housing in the midsole, and the forefront eyelets.

The Air Max 90 is one of the few models in which these in-house colorways are arguably more attention-grabbing than the collaborations, and with strong arrangements like these, that truth stretches into 2025 — a milestone year for Tinker Hatfield’s design.

You’ll find these appear on Nike.com and partnering Nike Sportswear retailers soon for $130. Another AM to look out for this year: the Air Max 95, which is celebrating its own big anniversary.
