The upper puts a spin on OG aesthetics with black as opposed to white and grey treatments, with the mudguard, Swoosh, and tongue/heel branding all taking the titular “Hyper Royal” color. A black midsole would bring that same stealthy theme underfoot, but alas, Nike opts for a white midsole and “Hyper Royal/White/Black” outsole.
