Andrew Rizzo The New Balance 9060 was a huge reason why the Boston brand posted record-breaking sales in 2024, appealing directly to the chunky shoe crowd with its bulbous construction, top-tier comfort, and extensive variety of styles and colorways. On one hand we’ve gotten tonal looks that strike as contemporary and versatile, while on the other we have vibrant, color-blasted takes that offer a bit more energy in uniqueness. This “Indigo Moss” colorway falls in the latter category, expected to roll out via New Balance and retailers in the very near future.
The titular color appears on hairy suede overlays across the upper, while the mesh base and New Balance logos delivery lively balance in lime green. The bright combination lends itself to myriad supervillains – The Joker, Lex Luthor, and the Green Goblin to name a few – which all seem like apt comparisons given the playful, youthful nature of the delivery. As for the rest of the design, the upper is complete with tan leather underlays on the forefoot and heel sections. More tan shades appear on the midsole, as do some subtle lime green accents.
