The Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn Adds Skate Flavor With Gum Soles

Millions of people struggle with tying their shoes, but thankfully, the ongoing slip-on trend and accessibility-focused styles by Nike Inc. mean that viable options are abundant. The Jordan 1 Low EasyOn is probably the most popular Jordan shoe among folks who need a little extra help locking in, now presented in a “Light Smoke Grey” colorway with some skate-minded touches.

Let’s start with functionality. The Jordan 1 Low EasyOn features a zipper that runs across the medial side of the heel, allowing its beholder to easily slip in and out without lacing up. There are “laces” though, which are secured over the forefoot by two pieces of velcro.

This upcoming colorway features “Light Smoke Grey” overlays and crisp white leather underneath, complemented by navy blue leather in the Swoosh cutout. While not intended for skateboarding, the design nods to Nike SB aesthetics with brown gum outsoles.

The Air Jordan 1 Low EasyOn “Light Smoke Grey” retails for $130 and is expected to release via nike.com in the near future, likely before the end of March 2025.
